Well everyone it's only a few days away until Christmas!
Well anyways I read these christmas poems and stories(some you probably already heard) and i wanted to share them,Enjoy
What Christmas Is All About...
On A hillside far away
Shepherds kept their flocks by night
The Stars that shone were very few
The moon gave little light
In a town nearby called"Bethlehem"
A carpenter, with his wife called Mary.
Was Searching for a room so she could rest,
As being great with Child made her weary.
People had come from miles around
To pay taxes as Herod decreed.
No room in the Inn for a weary pair.
The stable must meet their need.
Joseph led his donkey by the stable door.
And placed Mary on a bed of hay.
And,finding a manger where the animals fed
Made it comfortable for a babe to lay.
All at once the Shepherds saw
A star that was very bright.
Then Angels proclaimed the Saviour's birth
In Bethlehem that very night.
Yes,Jesus the King of Heaven
Took a robe of flesh that night.
He came to pay the sin dept;
To the world He is the light.
He went to a rugged cross one day;
His life He freely gave.
So that sinners like me could have new life.
His mission was to seek and to save.
They Laid Him that day in a borrowed tomb,
The King of all Kings was he!
But the grave couldn't hold the Son of God;
He burst forth in Victory.
I ask "What is Christmas really about?
Is it gifts and things? and goodies and things?"
No,Christ is really Christmas.
But forgotten this really seems
As we come this year to celebrate.
Let's remember why we have this day.
It started in a town called Bethlehem.
With a Babe in a manger of hay.
......
He came to pay a dept He didn't owe because we owed a debt we couldn't pay

Jesus...
Jesus had no servants, yet they called him Master.
He had no degree, yet they called him teacher.
He had no medicines, yet they called him a healer.
Had no army yet kings feared him.
He won no Military battles, yet he conquered the world.
He committed no crime, yet they crucified him.
He was buried in a tomb, yet he lives today!
FEEL HONORED TO SERVE HIM!

God Sent us a Saviour...
If our greatest need had been information,
God would have sent us an educator.
If our greatest need had been Technology,
God would have sent us a scientist.
If our greatest need had been money,
God would have sent us an economist.
If our greatest need had been pleasure,
God would have sent us an entertainer.
But our greatest need was forgiveness,
So God sent us a a Saviour!

The Story of the Candy Cane...
There was a candymaker who loved Jesus so much that he decided to do something special for his birthday. He used his talents to make a special candy to honor Jesus;he designed the first candy cane.
If the candy cane is held upright,it is the shape of a shepherd's staff which the shepherd uses as he watches over his sheep.Jesus is our shepherd. If the candy cane is turned upside down,it becomes the letter"J" for Jesus.
The scriptures tell us that by Jesus' stripes we are healed.Jesus was beaten and stripes were put upon his back when he was crucified in payment for our sins.So the candy was made with red and white stripes to represent the blood of Jesus which washes away our sins and makes us pure and white as snow.
One Bold stripe represents one God who is Father of us all.The three fine stripes represent the Trinity;one God who has revealed himself to us in three ways;the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit.
So when you see a candy cane this Christmas season, let it remind you of our savior and the reason for his birth. For it is true,"With his stripes we are healed"
